The Difference Between an Opening Sequence and a Trailor
This is the Full Title Opening Sequence for the film called 'Girl with the Dragon tattoo' - - This is the Trailor for the film called 'Girl with the Dragon tattoo' - - There are many differences between the 'opening sequence' to a film compared to the 'trailor' of a film. A trailor for a film usually contains of the most important and interesting scenes throughout the film which helps to intrigue the audience and make them want to watch that certain film. By using only the most interesting scenes it gives hints to the audience which also makes them then want to watch them film. However, an opening sequence is a short sequence of establishing shots which helps to create an atmosphere to the film which then makes the audience want to watch the film that they are advertising. Also, an opening sequence makes the shots run fast throughout the sequence so it gives the audience a little bit of information but not as much as a trailor, this also helps to make the audience want to watch the film.
